Welcome to our second issue of our digital flipbook!
This spring, we want to give a heads up on a few of the things upperclassmen should be prepared for as they approach their last two years on high school before college. Just because you may not be to this point in your education yet doesn't mean it is not for you. In fact, all high school students should be aware of these items and be prepared to achieve each of them if they want to be successful in their careers.
To graduate from high school, all Illinois students need to take the SAT during their Junior year and complete their FAFSA during their senior year. Although these seem like extra obstacles, they serve a beneficial purpose. High SAT scores may allow you skip straight to the good classes in college. Better yet, they may qualify you for academic scholarships for higher achievement scores. As for the FAFSA, this is the first and biggest step to apply for and receive financial aid.
Near the end, there are a few scholarship opportunities still open or yet to open up for qualified persons to apply. Check them out to see what you can apply for and be awarded today.
